Fou means crazy in French.
Knowing that french recognizes masculine and feminine subject/object/adjective/etc, the blogger should be referred to as folle, not fou, however the word fou is shoter than folle and is easier to remember (hopefully this could be a fair defense).
This blog was started because the blogger needs an outlet to jot down her absolute fascination towards food. Not just the eating, drinking part, but the oh everything.
She happens to love everything about food — How they’re being prepared, who’s been involved behind and in front the scene, how they taste, how they look, as well as how produces being grown (paraphrasing the Javanese saying: when it comes to finding the decent produce, whe have to consider its genetic factor or pedigree (bibit), rank or importance (bebet), and weight (bobot) ;D ).
Who’s Carolina the blogger?
I really can’t help being nitpicky about food, I’m raised in a foodie Chinese Indonesian and surrounded by foodamentalists.
I love food and the mutual symbiosis around it. I don’t care about eating, because I dine. I don’t taste or sample, I savour.
This blog is an outlet of my noted observations. It may contains bits of creativity but definitely charged with personal opinions. The photos are taken either by me or my husband, so they’re ours and are protected under Creative Commons license.
